15 Years Today! We Remember Aaliyah

Today August 25 marks the 15th anniversary of the death of the R n' B singer Aaliyah  who died on August 25th 2001 when her plane crashed few minutes after take off in Bahamas. 
Those aboard the ill fated flight were security guard Scott Gallin, 41; family friend Keith Wallace, 49; record label employees Douglas Kratz, 28, and Gina Smith, 29; hair stylists Eric Foreman, 29, and Anthony Dodd, 34; make up artist Christopher Maldonado, 32; and pilot Luis Morales III, 30.

The group were traveling from the island of Abaco where the singer shot the music video for her song "Rock The Boat." Investigations later revealed the plane was overloaded by over hundred pounds which contributed to the crash.
