Studies have shown that the more time spent in the toilet, the more likely you have piles. A research from an Israeli pediatric gastroenterologist, Ron Shaoul revealed that people who read while using the toilet consider themselves to be less constipated--even though the data doesn't show much of a difference from non-toilet readers. There's also a chance that toilet-readers may suffer more from hemorrhoids, though that's not really conclusive.

Aviation sector experts say increase in the price of aviation fuel from N105 to N220 per litre in Nigeria may soon cause airlines operating in the country to move to Ghana where aviation fuel is sold for N110 per litre.

Scores of Prisoners Killed, Bodies Evacuated after Jailbreak Attempt in Ebonyi

Scores of inmates in Abakaliki prison, Ebonyi state, were yesterday feared dead and many sustained bullet injuries following a foiled jail break.  Unconfirmed sources said that more than 14 persons were killed including one prison official and those injured were taken to the Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki, FETHA, for medical attention. Doctor and Three others Die From Lassa Fever in Anambra

A doctor and three other persons has been pronounced dead from a Lassa fever attack in Anambra State. The Ministry of Health in Awka, yesterday broke the news during a training workshop on Lassa fever. Nnamdi Kanu Accepted to Renounce Biafra in Secret - MEND

THE Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger-Delta, MEND, yesterday, alleged the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, agreed in secret to renounce ‘Biafra’ in exchange for freedom, only to act hypocritically in public after sealing discussion with them on the matter.
