Price of Tomatoes has Plunged from N25,000 to N800 a Basket





The price for a basket of tomato which was previously sold for N25,000 within the past few months, plummeted to N800 a basket in kaduna this morning.

The price previously rose following an outbreak of tuts-absoluta known as 'tomato ebola' in most states involved in farming tomatoes in large quantities.
